Aigen im Ennstal is located in the Enns Valley in the Austrian province of Styria, surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery and peaceful natural surroundings. Right next to the property lies Pichlarn Castle, which now operates as a hotel. The apartment offers beautiful views of the Enns Valley and the Grimming mountain. Guests also have access to a shared swimming pool and sauna, located approximately 50 metres from the apartment.

Putterersee: Just a 1–2 minute drive away, Putterersee is ideal not only for swimming but also for a pleasant family walk.

  • Bad Mitterndorf: The GrimmingTherme thermal spa is open year-round.
  • Barefoot Park: A great activity for both adults and children.
  • Altausseer See: A pleasant walking path leads around the beautiful lake, with charming restaurants along the shore.
  • Schladming: Take the cable car up to Hopsiland Planai, a fantastic experience for children, while the mountain hut offers adults breathtaking panoramic views. Approximately 45 minutes by car.
  • Rittisberg Adventure Park: Located in Ramsau, it offers a summer toboggan run, Flyline and, of course, skiing in winter.
  • Pürgg village: Mountain swimming and a panoramic viewpoint.
  • Ramsau: From mid-May to mid-October, mountain go-karts offer a 7 km route through beautiful surroundings. The ride down to the bottom of the valley takes approximately 20–30 minutes. Fun for the whole family – young and old alike!
  • Hallstatt: The picturesque town is part of the World Heritage-listed Hallstatt–Dachstein Cultural Landscape. You can enjoy a boat trip on the lake, while the world’s oldest salt mine is a great experience for both children and adults. A funicular takes you up to the mine, followed by a guided tour lasting approximately two hours. The funicular is currently undergoing renovation and is scheduled to reopen in summer 2026.
  • Schloss Trautenfels: The castle is located within 3 km.
  • Liezen: Shopping centre.
  • Der Wilde Berg Mautern: Wildlife park, approximately 1 hour away by car.
  • Salzburg: Less than a 2-hour drive away, where you can also visit Mozart’s birthplace.
  • Wolfgangsee: Just over an hour away by car.
